Anne-Louis Girodet de Roussy Trioson was a French painter born on 29th January 1767 in Montargis, France. Girodet was one of the painters that were of the first phase of Romanticism of French art.

Girodet studied drawing in 1773 and was awarded the Prix De Rome in 1789.

Many of Girodet's artworks can now be seen in the Musée Girodet in Montargis.
Goya Francisco
Francisco José de Goya y Lucientes born on March 30, 1746 in Bordeux, France was a Spanish artist that influenced important 19th-20th century painters.

Francisco was a revolutionary artist that had gained recognition and a significant following, unfortunately only after his death which was in 1828, April 16.
Peter Paul Rubens
Peter Paul Rubens born on June 28, 1577 in Siegen, Nassau, Westphalia [Germany] was a Flemish artist which adhered to the Baroque art style.

Rubens was a highly educated man that was one of the most efficient and versatile artist of his time.
Rubens later died on May 30, 1640.
